Our Lavender is grown in beautiful Elba, Cambria, and Wheatfield, New York. We're just minutes from Niagara Falls and the eastern most great lake, Lake Ontario. Our five and 25 acre fields include over 1,000 plants of English and French lavender, as well as companion flower and vegetable fields.
Everything Lavender is an all encompassing endeavor to propagate and plant lavender all over Western New York. We offer various lavenders from plugs to full size plants and landscaping help.
We are also in the process of developing a full line of finished local, fresh and lovely lavender products including the burlap wrapped floral pictured above. You can pre-order for pick up in July. The cost is $29.95 to join us while we still have member shares available for purchase for our upcoming 2024 harvest.

| This standard clump forming variety is adored for its delightfully sweet scented and high yielding essential oil production. The aromatic oils have a relaxing effect and is typically used medicinally to combat stress. In addition, it is recognized as an anti-depressive, anti-inflammatory and carminative; was even used as an antimicrobial agent during WWI! There is also some preliminary research suggesting its ability to reduce the severity of migraine headaches. From sweet to savoury dishes, English Lavender owns its versatile superiority in culinary use. Try adding the flowers as a splash of colour to a salad, or use in a Herbes de Provence blend to spice meat! Remember, a little goes a long way. Harvest just before the buds open, to optimize oil retention, and hang stems upside down in bunches in a warm dry spot for a few weeks. Commonly grown in rock gardens or as a border plant. Pollinator friendly & deer resistant! Like any other variety, English Lavender must be located in full sun and planted in well drained alkaline sandy soil, ideally in a raised bed or rock garden as it is prone to root rot if conditions are too wet. Perfect for borders, rock gardens and containers. After the second year of growth, begin pruning once or twice a year, cutting back a third of its foliage. This will help maintain its shape, leaf and flower production as well as prevent woodyness. Bloom time June-July and lasts 3-4 weeks. Height 2-3 feet. |

| A splayed out, compact bush with a dense hedgehog like growth habit. Produces soft violet blossoms with high yielding pungent camphorous oils. Commercially important strain from the Vaucluse district of France. Discovered in 1972 when the standard commercial strain was nearly destroyed by disease. Lavender must be located in full sun and planted in well drained alkaline sandy soil, ideally in a raised bed or rock garden as it is prone to root rot if conditions are too wet. Height 75cm/30 |
